Here is just a quick painting I wanted to do while recharging from the board game stuff.Trying out incorporating more photos to speed up the process of making images. So far.. It slowed me down a bit. Ironic.

Your art is always so interesting to look at. I really like the colors that you use! Also, how do you use images in your paintings? Do you mean using reference images?

Well all these concept artists use more photo textures in their work to speed up production so I have been slowly experimenting using them. The only thing is I rather paint it all due to the fact that putting in a photo texture feels like I'm giving up control a bit over the image. So I'm slowly dipping my toe in that water.

Thank you! Usually a nice tidy finished painting with all the trimmings takes around 8 hours to 10 hours.
This one took a shorter amount of time.
