Not to be confused with the Arrow of Arching or the Hammer of HittingΒ

No, no, it's gotta be an alteration:Β the Axe of Attacking or the Mace of Mauling.

*Boss
"We heard about many dungeons being raided by Adventurers. They plundered all coin, food, magic items and, tools and defensive equipment and slaughtered the inhabitants of said dungeons, not even leaving women, children or even rats or bugs alive. Those Adventurers always pursue the same tactics: First, they enter unannounced and launch a surprise attack on the top level of the dungeons were the weakest members of our communities are and where the least wealth is. Leveling up by shedding the blood of the sick, low level and young, they ascend deeper into the dungeon, fighting progressively stronger and more capable of us, gathering better equipment and more valuables on their way, using our own weapons and armor against us. Until they reach the heart of the dungeons where they kill the Boss last. After looting his corpse, they leave for the next City to sell what they don't need, buy healing potions and even better gear before attacking the next dungeon.
In order to protect our Dungeon better, I have decided that we reorganize it to better resist the threat.
First, I, along with my elite warriors am going to reside at the top level of the dungeon, taking away their advantage of having weak opponents initially and being able to level up through them.Β
Second, we will not have any healing potions, expensive jewelry or coin on the top floor, only the best weapons and armor we have, equipping it for ourselves. This takes away their advantage of being able to heal themselves quickly from what they find, or just quickly grabbing some gold and running to later return encumbered with health potions and resurrection stones.
Third, the dungeon entrance will be constantly guarded by an entire legion of my elite warriors and scouts will regularly take a peek outside of the dungeon. This removes their advantage of being able to use the element of surprise.
Fourth, the second floor will be completely empty and uninhabited. The pathway to the third floor will be sealed by a magical door that lets only us through if the key is not used. Said Key will be stored in a chest at floor164.
Any Questions?"
*Goblin
"Yes. How are we supposed to level up, Master?"
*Boss
"Hunt Rats and Bugs, like the Adventurers. This will also grant us a steady food supply."

It bothers me a bit that every dungeon has basically the same layout. Unprotected entrance, weak creatures, and little loot in the first part, but then the enemies get tougher and the loot gets more valuable. At some point, it gets obvious that they were constructed for the entertainment of some adventurer, which I find to be a design flaw if this is noticeable.

Say, I was to show my Son Videogames, when he has not yet touched or tried any Videogame in his entire life, as soon as he is old enough to understand what a Videogame is, and I wanted to show him a good one, but at the same time one he could actually play without being a pro gamer for 30+ years and without being insulted because he plays the first time. What would you recommend?

I am a fan of the final fantasy series games. Most preferably final fantasy 7. Their is some learning curve but not much. Also the story brings you in.

That is just painfull, cruel irony to me. I was working last night, cutting parts up, and my knife slipped and I accidentally stabbed myself in my left hand. Now I can barely use my thumb, because of my own mistake
