update
This has gone to press. only 300 will printed 18x24 (19.95)- If your interested let me know
-All but done- some minor touches to do- thinking of my next one-
working the highlights now- changed the background to fit more of the darkness of the forest in the background- I am still playing and should have this done in a day or two-
flats are all but done- i have a few more things to do with some shadows- I will be starting highlights in the next day or so.
this is my next 18x24 print, colors are coming- here is the basics of basic flats

It's just what I wanted to happend when I was a child - to encounter a magical creature in the forest. And who knows, maybe I did - I just didn't see it 
(growing up running around in the norwegian forest- brought up on tales of trolls, elfs, gnomes and everything magical living in the hidden corners of the woods- I can totally see your scenario happend!)

oooh - a new face just popped up in one of the treeroots! It's a dragon with his eyes closed...
Nature and all of its mysteries are important for kids I think, it sure left me with great memories and a colorful imagination

you know, the more i look at mountains and rocks these days the more i see the faces inside- it makes it a little more inviting.
nature is incredible how it can inspire and move one soul and puts me in awe that there is so much beauty in creation that is missed

what do you make these with?
it looks like illustrator or flash... except way to good to be made in either one of those.

it is drawn and inked by hand and then colored with photoshop
