I couldn't help, but pace about the empty building top, I knew she would be leaving soon and I knew I had one chance to do this, just once chance to leave her this gift. It was simple a paper crane, something I read in a book, they say if you make a thousand of these you make a wish and it would come true. It sounds silly trust me I know, but anything was worth a shot right? I decided Robyn would get the first of these cranes I have been making she would receive the first one, as a thank you. To some they didn't even know she helped catch the thief that stole my belongings. It meant a lot to me, as I don't own much to tell you the truth... Anyways, well I was to nervous to say much, but a thank you and then I dashed off like a coward, I had to let her know it did mean a lot to me I had to do something. So here I am on top of her home building, looking more and more like a stalker of some sort. All I can think is what a fool I am, how she would never understand this or like this.. Yet I felt compelled to do this... I had too...

I look downwards and suddenly my heart falls to my stomach as she walked out of the building. I quickly grab the crane and gulp, what if... what if... I shook my head I couldn't think of things like that I had one chance, just one moment, and it was now. I open my mouth and drop the crane and let out a faint whistle so she would turn her head and look over. I watched as the scene unfolded before my eyes, my paws began to sweat with nervousness and doubt. Yet as I watched her turn her head and smile at the paper crane, I knew, for once, I did something right. I smile all the more at the perfect moment I just saw. All I can hope for is that she see's this and maybe understands its a sign of good things to come or something along those lines, I'm not sure. I just want her to know... that I am thankful for her helping me out. I sigh deeply and soon turn around and walk off, smiling all the more as I made my first successful paper crane. Only 999 more to go.
