I think Frodo's strength comes more from the mental struggle with the Ring. Sam is more of the action hero. And he was perfectly portrayed by Sean Astin.
Don't get bored of the books. They are slow-paced sometimes, but awesome and beautiful. Plus, the part where Frodo leaves Sam behind doesn't happen in the books. I was a little irritated when I saw that scene in the movie.

I really liked your drawings! and I loved the fact you actually understand Frodo and don't think he's a wuss! People always say Sam's the real hero but neither of them could have made it so far without the other.

Pippin is my favourite character as well!! Along with Merry (because, really, they can't be separated lol) and I agree with you about Frodo. Lots of people call him a wimp but he went through so much and the ring twisted his mind (though I was tempted to yell at my TV when he made Sam cry but it was Gollum and the ring!!). I would have probably died at the first Ringwraith as well

The ring makes what it wants of us. People fancy themselves stronger than it...and frankly people like that end up like Boromir, sucked it, and when they finally realize their mistake they only have a few seconds left to redeem themselves before they croak, lol.

I agree with you one hundred percent about Frodo!!
And also-- glad to see another fan of Pippin. I don't think he gets quite as much love as he should. He certainly does a good amount of growing throughout the entire ordeal. Maybe more than a lot of the other characters. Just my opinion, though.
