sky appled! i love that scene in the film. haven't read the books either. oh, and frodo IS NOT one tough cookie! he IS a wuss.ot becaue of what he rin does, but he does a spectacular show of falling over every 3 secng dramatic faces. that is about all he is capable of. and don't say that the ring is responsible for making him fall over and pull wimpy faces. it cannot control his facial muscles. i could also happily kill him when he made sam cry. i nearly cried then too.

I absolutely HATED Frodo when he made Sam cry, and yet my heart BLEEDS for him in that scene on Mt. Doom where he's looking up at the top and just...crawling along with whatever strength he has left and that little bit of music that sounds like its from the Shire plays T_T
But you're def. right about him. I remember when I was much younger and had just gotten into the serious I kinda felt like Frodo was "a wuss" especially after I had read the books and compared the two, but, after growing up and maturing I say he's still just as tough in the movie. He goes through so much crap XD

Thank you so much, I did the same thing when I was younger. When you're younger it's hard not to joke around about Frodo's character, but as you mature you come to realise that no one person can properly experience an other's point of view or pain.
Everyone has their situation to deal with, when you are outside looking in, everything seems simple.
If the ring is strong enough to destroy the world, even making your way out of your front door with it in good intention is an act of strength and courage.
