Description
Phew. Haven't done aquatint in two years, so it was nice to have a go at that again. This method was different from the conventional resin method I've used before, this plate had an airbrushed acrylic surface. Using this method, I noticed one massive pro: the lineart didn't disappear, as opposed to with the old method, with which you would essentially be doing a blind drawing in the end.I have been bitten by a pretty-pattern bug.

Outstanding work! Congrats on the DD. I really like this, especially how the owls eyes look, as if photographed in the night with a flash. I also greatly like the way you did the background. That pretty-pattern bug hadΒ an amazing effect!

Exquisite, delightful piece! And an aquatint, not a lot of people using such methods! Congrats on the DD! I am always happy to see "traditional" art on DA.
