Description
This is a sketch of Bonnie Rideout, a Scottish fiddler champion. I'm not sure how many people are familiar with her work, but I urge you guys to go and see her performances or check out one of her cds. The emotion and energy she pours into her pieces are amazing.I've spent almost a month working on this sketch and I'm at a point where I need some critique. Does she have enough values? Do her curls need more body? Are the proportions correct?
This was done with a 4H and a 2B pencil (the few pencils I had on me at the time.)

I like it. Especially the more shadowy part of her face and the violin. Her hair's a little "blah".... Kinda idealized, but then again, I don't know what she looks like so you could be accurate.

Thank you for the critique! I'm so happy to finally recieve some on this! I do have to agree after all the detail I spent on the rest of the piece the hair does appear blah. I'll have to email you the original souce. I'll have to spend sometime on her hair now.
