Description
Of course, the majority of Goths are unique in their style and music preferences. However, within the subculture there are certain "types" of Goth with particular characteristics. And it can be fun to classify them. Naturally, classifications for each "type" vary from person to person, so you may disagree with what I say here!Gothabilly is one of the styles I know least about, and I think it shows here. Hmmm. Ah well, I did enjoy drawing them.

These are great. I love when people do these (Stereo) type things. Not only do I learn of some interesting bands/books etc. to check out but I also learn a little more about some of the 'scenes' I'm interested in

haha I love the dude and his slick hair. I myself have never been fortunate enough to encounter one, but my music teacher has told anecdotes from his childhood in Oklahoma a music scene battle. Here where I live, it's generally rock V rap. There it was Goth V. Country, and he did mention a few that were neutral and sort of torn between sides (Though mostly leaniong towards Goth). I myself have listened to Cult of the Psychic Fetus, and although I am no fan of country, the music was entertaining in a very cheesey sort of way.
Personally I've always found Gothabillies to be really ironic, and created a sort of "What if Goths came to be in the 1950's?" Scenario. I tip my hat to their creative twist

Really? Not having Hot Topic in the UK, I didn't realise it would be so popular with that crowd. Here, the Rockabilly/Gothabilly types tend to shop at retro and kitsch fashion stores.

Here it is. Every Hot Topic I go into sells a lot of the polka-dot, cherry, 50's-like stuff. Some of it's cute, but I'm more into Hello Kitty!.
