I thought it was a hella cute idea, but I dunno what most willl think!
Just means your pokedex is going to have character? Will it be a companion and take up a slot? Or just be your pokedex, but with personality and more interaction?

I think it'll just be a companion type, but not count as a team member and take up a slot. I'm pretty sure it'll be like Link's Navi, more a "Hey listen!" type. Like Instead of Prof. Oak telling you not to ride your bike indoors, it'll be this guy.
Either way, I DO hope a Dex-form Rotom will be available to battle.
