Yeah, heard they've been getting reaaally bright these days. Good job getting a pic that actually turned out. Most of them are too bright and glare.

You're welcome! I liked the story that went with this shot too, about your brother searching for his lens cap. Glad he found it.

Thank you very much.
This even caught me off guard, this what you are seeing only lasted about 3 minutes, entire sky filled with really powerful northern lights, and adding the situation with my brother fumbling around for his lens cap made this a unforgettable moment.

Absolutely gorgeous! So jealous that you live far up north where you can see the aurora on a regular basis. Last one I saw was in southern Canada nearly 20 years ago. Unspeakable beauty!

It truly is, not much I can really say that would explain the experience.

You are quite welcome.
I think that is why I like the photo so much, you don't have to worry about putting a description in words. All you have to do is show anyone the picture and let them decide!

Yeah, as a photographer you want to tell a story, but there is not need to be too detailed a little is enough to get the vision out, the rest is up to the viewer.
And more often than not the viewer will have a totally different opinion than the photographer.

Exactly! When I see a photo like this, I try to share an experience with the artist to show what they have inspired. It's always good to know what kind of effect your art has on others, especially when you have a creative block!

Oh absolutely, those creative blocks have a tendency to come around when you least want them to, I generally just keep on trying, it usually solves itself pretty fast.
