Fava Bean took me two weeks to make. The doll was a regular cute little doll that was being thrown away. I ripped off her hair, sawed off the top of her head with a Dremmel tool, and painted her like rot. She measures 6" tall. The brain was made with oil based clay and hand painted and sealed. The spine was handmade with de-fuzzed pipe cleaners and painted. She was a labor of love.Related content

Well i fancy this! The doll is so perfecttt. It's a little strange that the spine is shiny but good attempt if you just used pipe cleaners! dude down there v said brain could be more realistic, but i think it's perfect the way it is (: i realllyy love this.

Thank you! The spine is shiny because I wanted it to be kinda' like a cyborg spine- part flesh and part metal. I used little pieces of metal wire- I WISH I would have used pipe cleaners! hahaa! They would have been easier to bend. And the brain- yeah- I don't even have that brain anymore- it fell apart! hahaa! I am in the process of getting some sculpey to make a new one that's cooler. I am happy with her- especially since she was the first doll i ever made. Din't turn out too bad! hahaa! Thank you for your feedback!

yeah- it was my very first attempt at making a doll like that. I only had crappy clay to work with...heheh. Oh well...it is what it is.

Yeah people give funny reactions! I don't care though. I take my babies out to photograph them...not to please or displease anyone. But the soccer moms are the best! heheh

It may sound crazy but she's like my kid! My only doll I could never sell! I spent two weeks- HOURS a day- of my life creating her. Yep...she's like a kid...I even took her to a cemetery to photograph her once. It was an outing of sorts. I'm not really crazy...I just like my Fava Bean...

Thank you! I can never bring myself to sell Fava Bean. I worked for two weeks...hours a day on her. She was a learning experience. I will use what I learned from making her to make others similar to her...but that's it. She is like my kid...sounds crazy, but that's how it feels. Actually all of my creations feel that way. I suppose it is appropriate considering I am the one who brings them into the world...out of nothing. Yep...not crazy at all..
