Snake charming in Felarya. It still involves a Cobra swaying to the music, but there are a few differences. Starting with which party gets to set the terms of the performance...Have you ever had one of those ideas that you didn't quite pull off as well as you would have liked? And because it was neat and deserved better than you gave it, the idea gets lodged in the back of your head, and every so often you feel the need to re-visit the idea until you do it right? Well, that happens to me every now and then. And one of those times was this drawing: [link] . It wass unpolished, it was drawn at an awkward angle for seeing the character, and most of all, the character design for the cobra-girl was just really bland. Her hood didn't work at all....
So, after turning the cobra-hood into a pun, and making it into a fashion-hood, I went back and re-did the drawing. While the dancing-pose isn't quite as showy as it might have been, everything else feels good enough!
So! I hope you--and the explorers pictured--enjoy this girl's performance. Say the right things to her, and you may get a private dance afterwards.
...And pay no attention to that slug in the background. If she disrupts the show in any way, she'll learn what the penalty is for crossing a King (Queen) Cobra!

One thing I can say about this picture is green. Its not a bad thing and I happen to like green. You did a nice job with the flow of her tail and her clothes, and very nice detail on everything. The best part of the picture is the slug girl and I was wondering: whats inside the hole in the tree?

Ah, good, someone did pick up on the creature in the tree! It was supposed to be a Neko--you know, a cat hiding in a tree--but, admittedly, its a little hard to render/detail creatures that small...

Well, since I imagined him being the leader of this small team--hence him getting the special treatment--I imagine they're paying a lot of attention to that.
