Not really, I had one basic 30-40 line code, and all the cursors were in movieclips, inside one massive movieclip.
I do know actionscript properly, though, this is by far one of the easiest things I've made (the hardest thing was to think of ideas for the cursors).
I might write a tutorial on cursor games...
