Uh, done with the hairs. And it happened again... Elsa's hair looks ugly again. I hate that I don't have the proper colour for it.
Ah, never mind...And now the last part...the outfits.

I think that Elsa's hair looks very good and so does Anna's! although this picture isn't completely complete, I enjoy the effort that you put towards this amazing image of Elsa and Anna

but hey, it's really beautiful already (altho it's not yet done, haha) anyway, may i ask, what kind of colours did you used for Anna's hair, cuz everytime i color Anna's hair, it'll turn out reddish or sometimes orangey-- almost like a gingerhead.

Wish I could name all the shedes I used for Anna's hair, but unfortunately I'm not an expert. But I took a photo for you of the pencils and their colours I used.

As you can see, I mostly used shades of light brown (one of them is a bit of reddish), a little bit of yellow and dark brown for shading. And I combined them. Hope I helped a bit.

I also love drawing traditional, and with colored pencils.
For some reason I love how my sketches/drawings come out but when it comes to coloring/shading something that is completely original. I fail. Which is why I don't post lots of my original art on here.

Earlier I had the very same problem. But because my mom was an art teacher we have lots of books about drawing and painting including lots of shading techniques. So I learned a lot from them. But if you don't have these kinds of books, that's not a problem at all. I've seen several amazing tutorials - most of them are right here, in DevianART - which can be very helpful. I recommend you to try some if you'd like.

Yeah it's something that I really have to work on, because it's amazing on how a badly colored drawing lowers the quality of a original sketch. Happens to me so many times.
Thing is I have tried reading some stuff up, but alot of the times they just talk about shadows behind the characters and backgrounds. What I have problems with is shading things like skin,(mainly facials) hair and sometimes clothes. Especially when they're in different lighting.
I won't give up though. I always think thats the best thing of art, you're always learning and improving, no matter how many years you've been doing it.

By the way I see you are a doll fan too, so am I. I think it's about the only one thing that's feminine that I do( I'm a tomboy). Although nowadays some straight guys are getting into it too

Oh yes, I love dolls, despite lots of people - including my family - think,it's childish. But I don't care. W.I.T.C.H. was one of my favourite cartoons. God, my classmates and I loved it! Ah, sweet memories...

I think that's one big thing that I'm grateful for...my mom is also a doll collector so in the end both of us spend alot time together doing that hobby. So encouraging. That and finding other people online my age that do it too (like you)
However it still doesn't make it any less annoying to have many other people either related to me or not to look at me in a weird way because I do love dolls. Alot of people think for some reason that it's either for little girls or grandmas only.
