Calling it now, Bon Bon is secretly a mad alchemist with a price of over 1,000,000 bits on her head for creating a royal super soldier that wreaked havoc in the canterlot castle. That would obviously mean that she should be a unicorn of course, but she clearly cut off her own horn in order to run from the law and start a new life as a bankrupt candy store owner.

I do have one thing to say, though. I really don't think people blush that easily. Especially a grump like Bon-Bon who definitely doesn't like to show emotions, and probably does that by preventing herself from feeling them in the first place.
