Yet another "new" character. Some know him as Time Turner, just a regular earth pony who maintains and repairs clocks. Some know him as The Doctor. Who is he really? I leave that to your imagination, I won't dig into his character any further.
As for him and Colgate/Minuette, their relationship is purely platonic.

i just remembered a silly story i read where Minuet and "time turner" were part of a semi-secret group of "time-keepers": their public job was to keep the clocks accurate, but their real job was hunting malicious time travelers!

For what it's worth the bit about Minuette/Colgate having time magic is actually official by a couple sources. Hasbro released a glitter version of the toy with her image in May 2012 and a non-glitter version in June 2012. In the US version the card that came with her said "MINUETTE is always on time with the help of some magic!" and although not from Hasbro, Series 2 of Enterplay's trading cards includes a card featuring Minuette with the description "Minuette is always on schedule thanks to her magic, and ponies say she's good enough to lord over time itself!". So irregardless of her backstory her having time magic is cannon.

In this comic, she mainly uses it to treat patients while freezing time, at least within a short range. The patient just lays down, and they're already done!
I wish this was available IRL, it's pretty boring to wait till the doc works on my teeth.

O yes the doctor. Funny thing is in the comics he never refers to himself as doctor who usually some villain who's asking doctor who at the beginning of the story Ark when they find out they were foiled by the doctor.

That actually depends on your taste in story. I will say this they are easier to get into than the official books but the same time there more Fast Pace with some details cut out from the actual books then again if they tried to adapt the entire story into a comic you have like 100 issues / storyline I don't think there is any comic creators with the dedication to go that far detail wise. It's sort of like the difference between reading the time machine short story and reading the comic The Time Machine but on a larger scale
