I don't think this needs a mature tag at all, whilst she is naked, she is a robot and she doesn't have any visible genitalia, when it comes to how human she looks here, she looks more like a human wearing armour or metallic clothing than a naked human.
On the other hand, I think pic of her in the white costume needs a mature tag due to her camel-toe

My only qualm is that they are a bit dark (on the black parts, mainly) so some of the details are harder to see in specific angles.

I wouldn't mind seeing some good reference images on Eva. In early game teasers I thought that that was Miranda with a suit redesign and I was digging it. I was a little disappointed to find out that it wasn't Miranda and that she didn't get a suit redesign not that there is anything wrong with ME 2 Miranda.

I think I mainly don't understand why the Systems Alliance would spend precious money and resources building an unnecessary physical form for an illegal AI, which everyone seems to have forgotten is what EDI is. >_>

yup. she was made by Cerberus. and yup, they are the bad guys. *SPOILERS AHEAD* it was made for other AI/VI that was supposed to be a Cerberus agent spying on Mars. it was EDI's idea to take over the body (with a little help of Joker) when the agent was immobilized and brough to the Normandy :3 i guess she just deleted the previous 'software' and installed herself

the AI personality that was in it was trying to recover using a backup processor, and EDI had to assert herself in the body to stop the other AI from damaging her core systems because the physical platform was stored in the AI core
