Description Drew this after watching "Inception", the mind-blowing epic by Christopher Nolan. The commercials, the reviews, nothing quite does it justice. Go see it for yourself. If you already saw it, you know the power of this piece. This is my reality, my idea of the end.

It's not my place to entirely decide the truth, but this is how I would prefer things to work out.

Again, unless you see the movie, you have no idea.

I believe the totem fell.

I believe the totem fell too. It was wobbling at the end, just before the credits rolled. I think Cobb made it home <3

Truffleberry In reply to KadiiRawr [2010-07-24 15:41:15 +0000 UTC]

Um, photoshop? I used a screenshot from the movie as reference, drew the top in shades of black, and threw in a tilted tabletop background. xD

Ah, wow. (:

I ought to learn how to use photoshop - I use GIMP at the moment.

Must've been using it for a few years or so to get that good?

Nah, it doesn't take all that long to get used to it. But then again I'm fast to adapt, so...

I'm quick to learn new things, but not art related things. x3

Yeah? It's a pretty sweet program though, I prefer it to a lot of others that I've used.

I've never used it - downloaded the free trial but didn't bother trying, as I'd only just got my head around the basics of GIMP.

Well if you're comfy with GIMP, you should totally stick to it for a while. :3

it just as to be something personal that would react differently in the dream world than it would in the real world. Mal's dreidel would spin forever in the dreams, Arthur's loaded die and Ariadne's pawn would both react differently too, though the movie never clarified how. :3

I personally thought it fell, but I do like the ambiguity of the ending. It makes people think about the movie after seeing it.

It does, Christopher Nolan is a brilliant artist for doing the ending like that.

I think the totem fell too. It looked like it was about to fall right before it cut off, and some my friends say you can hear it fall over and hit the surface when the screen is black.
I dont know for sure if thats true, because when I saw it as soon as it went black everyone was cheering loudly XD

Amazing though, gonna see it again asap. And nice artwork of course :3
