The moon glowed bright on the sky that night enveloping the land with a mysterious and magical aura. Two people were walking alone through the trees and bushes. Edward and his fiancée, a girl who met years ago in the same forest. The boy liked to walk on the forest at night, as it made him felt relaxed and he saw Luna a couple of nights but never dared an approach or even a conversation. Luna, although attractive, was covered by some kind of aura that made Edward unable to approach such a wonderful girl. But that changed one night when he saw the woman running while she was being pursued by a couple of brutes that tried to hurt her. Edward took her hand and helped her scape tricking the brutes and facing them until they were pissed out and decided to leave. Luna, then, thanked Edward.
Every night since them, Edward and Luna meet in the same forest, day after day, and discovered everything from each other until they finally felt in love. Years had passed since that day and they lived a normal life like any other happy couple.
One day, as both felt it was the next step, Edward asked marriage to Luna on a famous restaurant after a wonderful dinner and, of course, she accepted happily but…Edward noticed something more…The girl was nervous. Took the ring out of her finger and left it in Edward´s hands.

Edward could not believe how lucky he was for having such a wonderful woman. How he could ever be afraid?
Luna seemed to be anxious and scared while she was walking, taking the hand of Edward and guiding him. The girl was wearing a stunning white drees with jewelry and small pearls but she didn´t seem to care as the forest´s trees and bushes were constantly piercing trough her skirt tearing apart pieces of her dress until letting it totally torn.
´´My love! Your dress is…´´
´´Forget about my dress!´´ She claimed. Then, she stopped, and took away her shoes, tossing them away. ´´And forget about this annoying shoes as well´´ The she took again her boyfriend´s hand and both ran together into the forest.
´´That dress was…´´ Said Edward.
´´Nothing is more important than this, I assure you…And I can´t wait to see how you will react…´´
´´React to what?´´ The young man felt more nervous each passing moment.

As the sunlight covered her, Luna lifted one finger and a glow emerged from it. At first, Edward thought it was the sun reflection on the jewelry but then he realized the glow was emerging from Luna´s finger.

´´Your species…? What…?¨¨ Edward was stunned.
Luna step forward one leg. At first, her skin looked as pale as ever but Edward realized something was changing. The girl´s pale skin was being covered by something that seemed like glowing blue sparks that started to make disappear the girl´s dress near her ankles revealing two white and elegant hooves where Luna´s feet should be. She could not dare staring directly to Edward, not while she was changing as she was afraid of his expression so she covered her face with a hand. In fact, the young man was totally shocked with fear and impression for what he was seeing and feeling.
´´Please, do not be scared…I will not hurt you.´´
The transformation process continued. As Luna´s dress gradually disappeared, more and more of her equine legs were shown developing new bone structures and muscular shape. For Luna the process did not seemed painful, in fact, for her was a natural as breathing. Most of the girl´s lower part was now totally equine. Her white horse legs revealed under the sunlight and a growing tail, caressed by the summer breeze, emerged from her tailbone sharing the pale color and soft texture of her human hair. Luna´s hands changed next as she stared how her fingers melt into one single hoof and a layer of soft white fur covered her hand. She lifted up one of the forelimbs and left the other one behind her back in a very elegant fashion.
´´This is who I really am, my love…´´ She said when a sparkle emerged from her forehead like a sun reflection. Edward, who thought his fiancée was turning into a horse, realized that she was morphing into something else even more incredible. ´´Now you will see…´´
The sparkle revealed a glowing structure emerging from her forehead. It was a horn. Luna was turning into a unicorn. Luna was a unicorn.
The changes accelerated as the long horn was being formed. When the glowing sparkles of magic reached her waist and her back the girl was no longer able of standing in two legs, she lost her balance and crouched to get into all fours revealing her new equine frame in all it´s dimension. The girl´s white hair felt over her face, surrounding the growing horn. Luna´s arms were quickly covered by white fur and reshaped until forming a full set of equine forelimbs before she could even touch the ground.
´´I will…not be able to speak…for much…neeeeigh…´´ Luna´s voice suddenly left a melodious whinny. She chocked her mouth but she was unable to speak anymore.

Edward gasped as he saw Luna like a strange hybrid between a unicorn and a human but it did not last long. The young woman´s dress finally disappeared in a stream of sparks but what was beneath the clothes were now a full horse flank and back. At the same time, the changes continued with her neck, elongating and thickening it until forming an equine one covered with white fur, Luna´s silky and curly hair was now her mane and laid graciously over her strong and muscular, yet still soft an elegant neck.
The transformation finally reached Luna´s face. The girl´s ears changed into a set of equine ones and took place on her head while fur was covering her cheeks. Luna´s mouth elongated and reshaped, merging with her nose until forming a white muzzle. Her horn reached it´s total length, and her mane laid over her new visage. Now, only Luna´s blue eyes left as those of a human being.
A second before being transformed into the deep and magical eyes of a unicorn, Luna stared at Edward, giving him her last human sight and her first unicorn sight. Those eyes were deep and beautiful as those of Luna were. The transformation was over and a glorious and pure female unicorn stood in front of Edward, where moments ago the love of his life was.
The unicorn approached Edward, but did not dare touch him. The young man was still shocked and stunned, caught in a crossfire of feelings. That unicorn was Luna? He could not believe it. Luna was a human girl, the most wonderful he ever met, not a mythical creature.
´´Now…my love. It´s your turn.´´ Said a voice. Edward opened his eyes. It was Luna´s voice. But how? Then, he stared at the female unicorn. She was not moving her mouth but her horn showed sparks of glow as the voice said again. ´´It´s still me. I am talking directly to your heart´´
