Aw Peek is so cute with her one eye! Haha. People have been going in the water lately and she's been biting.
And the other day she locked Charmin in the shallows.

I love Peek, she's such a cutie. I'm surprised about the biting though, I've never seen her like that (not that I see her that often lol). And she and Charmin are usually so sweet together! Weird.

They seem to be working on the waterwork with the orcas, at least they were in the water with them in the shallow end. And yes, that's exactly what Horus is, lovable though he may be lol

Well that's cool, then. It would be cool to see that as a part of the show, though. (Or better yet, a narration so we can learn things, but that's another rant entirely.)

Sheesh indeed. You've got twenty minutes of whales doing stuff - awesome - but I'm sure people would like to have some filler, like learning a bit about the performers, basic info about the species, etc ... (darnit I ended up ranting)

The park, by aquarium standards, sucks. But I love it anyway.
Yeah, isn't there Kelowna's calf right now plus four more pregnant girls? I think that's a record for anywhere beluga-wise. (And the best part is you get them almost entirely untrained when they're sent to your park! Yay!)

Yay! Although to be fair, they seem to be working on training the belugas a lot more this year. Horus and Burnie are being trained to work with people in the water as well.

Well that's good ... it just always seemed to me that all the lugas learned to do were get petted and come up for food.

Well from what I saw, they're working on spinning and spitting and even some bowing. It's nice to see the lugas working on stuff. And they're definitely working in the water with them.
