Just some simple texture practice. I pushed myself to try and get the most realistic textures with nothing but brushes and Photoshop know how.So...which one's your favorite?

Luv wood colours, grass looks so much real, water drop and "bubbles inside of circle, shine of scales... Sooo, that's my favourite!
You dou it with Adobe CS3, right. If you do, I also have it, and I wish i could do something like that. Luv it.
Sorry because I'm out of theme, but I wish that there would be 4d games, with some smells when you get to some part of area (smell of grass, sea etc.), and I would wish that something make player to feel changes of themperature, they should make 4d DOTD

Good choices.
And no, I use Photoshop CS4 Extended. However, you should be able to do the same with your program.
It has been done before, but the problem was to get rid of the smell afterwards.

Thank you, and marble is that fancy material you find on countertops. It's very common to have them in hotel lobbys.

It takes practice, I found some interesting techniques by just playing around with the brush settings. It's all about opacity change and angle, etc.

It's basic knowledge on how to manipulate brushes and styles in Photoshop. I created these from my years of experience with Photoshop. The best tip I can give is to experiment and see what you can make.

That's a great idea, I need to push myself to do the same thing. They all look so good but my favorite is the water.

It's a great way to practice, and honestly I'm surprised at how well the water came out. It used to look like a blue rubber ball with white spots.

wow man, dang your too good. um I like grass better, now I'll use this as a reference for how my grass should look like instead of that poor excuse looking grass I have on my other drawings. nice job yet again bro.

I knew what grass looked like because of Soccer. And yeah, you should try this out. Just keep in mind to differentiate the colors of the grass. Not all blades of the grass is purely green. And also grass has shadows as well. With these tips you can easily make some realistic looking grass.
