The show circuit was winding down, the last show they were leasing Graf in being the Summer Show at Evergreen Hills. Zeke had taken a liking to the mare, keeping a close eye on her, so was eager to ride her in her last show with the Ranch.

He was a little perturbed when he found out it was to be a Pas de Deux, and a little uncomfortable when Nichole said she would be riding with him. He liked the woman fine, but he treated her with the deference any married woman deserved.

They dressed the part, Nichole signing quickly to Naydene about why she looked so silly and out of the norm, before they mounted up on their Nordanners to enter the field.

They began with a rear, effectively saluting the audience and judges, then went into their quick routine to the sixties song Nichole had picked out.

Zeke hoped he did well, for his Ranch's sake.
