yay! i saw it and suddenly i thought you had put up some sort of screencap of a lemony snicket story. then i realized it was an orangey picknick story. then i was in awe. then i had to do something so i stopped writing and sent this message, which you are reading.
if the mountains were a little lower out the window so there was more sky.... it might feel like more of an upward angle. and if you weren't looking at books on a desk, cause few little kids look over desks like that. it's just too much trouble for them! take it from a permanent shorty who knows what it's like to go out of the way to find a lazier route

I figured you'd like it since you are a librarian. I was somewhat of a librarian for a while....I had to organize and catalog the whole thing since it was in terrible disarray. It took me days to get it all set up right. Luckily it was a small library, only around 10 shelves.

well, darn it, i don't have anything really constructive to say. i mean, well it's BRILLIANT!!!! i wish i could think of additions to the story, but i really don't know where you want it to go. maybe i could just do some watercolor illustrations or something...

Dude, the perspective is great! However, when I look at the wall of books and the window, I feel like I'm looking up. When I look at what's behind the window, I feel I'm looking straight out, and when I look at the table and girl, I feel somewhat like I'm looking down at them. I don't know. It's a strange perspective.

i want that library! love the angle...excentuates the height of the window and bookshelves....kinda like from a child's perspective

as for the angle, I was trying to make it from a childs view, just like you said. I wanted to portray the feeling of "tall" and "big" shelves. things always look bigger when you're small.
