I'm new to deviantArt (by a few weeks) and idk what to do with dock icons I find on here...I use RocketDock and I was thinking if I would use the dock icons as just an icon for anything, but some seem animated or have "on"s and "off"s...what exactly are they used for?

Hum, I think you must convert the icons in .icns file format for MacOS !
The point is, my file are .png (simple image like .jpg) and .ico (Windows icon format).
If you want these to work on Mac, find (on Google ?) a good software to convert .ico to .icns, or .png to .icns !

Try to use "CandyBar" app, I think it's pretty useful for icon-customization
