Description Detailed lineart - Commission #1 for *TCKART of his rendition of Athena, greek warrior goddess of wisdom, war, strategy, industry, justice and skill who was born fully clothed and armoured from Zeus's forehead.

I had so much fun with this one and Aphrodite to match, but a pain in the ass to get the spear in the pic I had originally drawn her too big on the paper and left no room for the spear head, so I had to scan what I had, resize it all and print it out again with more room at the top to finish it off. Overall though, I am VERY pleased with how she turned out and I totally can't wait to see his coloured version of this!

Yes, *TCKART will be coloring this! *glee* For those who don't know him or his sparse works, he did this pic of Pluto for me He even redrew her in my style to fully get her hair in *amazed* An amazing (and HOT) man with hella talent WHO SHOULD BE WATCHED! *cough*

Isn't Athena just Minerva in Roman mythology? I'm pretty sure all the Greek/Roman gods simply switch names depending on the culture So really it's not a big issue

Lol WHAT?! I clearly need to reread Greek myths before finals to relieve stress and have a couple laughs. I don't remember the cow story, but then again I was in fifth grade and reading them from a picture book so that's prolly why it wasn't in there! Oh man, but Egyptian myths were just as crazy. I remember lots death chariots and scarabs!

LOL I could totally be wrong, I haven't brushed up on my mythology in ages, but I do remember something about cow or bull and Leda, or Lida or whatever the hell her name is Oh man, the egyptians... yeah, each pantheon was just as screwed up as the next Hell, even our D&D Pantheon with Shaelynn and D'anna is fucked! They're all related in one way or another
