Description This one is a big Hijabi-Insider You know, if you don't wear your head scarf correctly, it's possible, that some hair sticks out from the side (I don't know, who to explain this clearly ), and this can drice you crazy, at least me and my sister ^^

Just a quick comic, because I missed DA so much and needed to draw something for myself..

Oh my gosh, I know a few girls at school who could probably relate to this. XD

Oh yeah, question about your art: is it all digital, or do you draw it traditionally then turn it to digital media?

This one I drew traditionally and then edited digitally.

Oh. So that's also what I do, or just completely digitalize it.

in high school there was this one girl who has having BOTH a bad hair day and a bad hijab day. it was like it became sentient and decided not to stay put-she had to barrow the Sikh version from a classmate for the rest of the day. In case you haven't seen it looks like a pullover hijab.

(and to avoid confusion I'm actually secular)

Ah the feeling. XD I got annoyed by it too. I wear glasses and I think it made it easier for the hair to sticks out.

DesertFlower85 In reply to NatsuReize [2012-02-08 18:55:08 +0000 UTC]

lol i wear glasses as well and it is kinda annoying when my hair are coming out of hijab. In this case for me even an underscarf is not helping :S ..I feel with you

👍: 0 ⏩: 2

stinglikabee In reply to DesertFlower85 [2012-08-27 22:20:01 +0000 UTC]

Then also, glasses make it difficult to wear a cap It makes my head sore!

XD You're right about the underscarf.

tuffix In reply to NatsuReize [2012-02-08 16:37:14 +0000 UTC]

Oh yes, I always wondered, how hijabis could deal with glasses. I feel with you.

👍: 0 ⏩: 2

aneesah In reply to tuffix [2012-02-10 14:11:18 +0000 UTC]

And some types of glasses also stick out of the sides of our face a tad, so it changes the shape of the hijab somewhat. ^^ When I started to wear glasses it was so awkward when my hijab kept riding down my forehead, if that makes sense.

But yes we learn to deal with it.

Regarding the issue that the comic brings up -- I think short hair / fringe that cannot be tied back is the worst culprit. So hair that is long enough to be tied into a ponytail is quite important for me.

LOL, there is a solution so no more sorrows: just put a hair band (not sure if that's the correct name) and you will never get your hair out !
