Description
Coloured the IT sketch I did yesterday and submitted it to Furry Paws. I tried a few different methods when I was colouring this -- not really sure how I like this way yet. xPUpdate: It got accepted. c:

Gives it a richer and realistic look ii think.
Also adds some definition to the coat, unlike
majority of mine that just look simply flat colored. xP

Thanks! I did try to add a bit of variety in the coat, as I also usually have that same problem -- flat coats on dogs with a solid colour.
Mostly the difference in method for this was the order in which I did things, rather than a different way of colouring. c; And you totally should breed ITs!!

yeah ii actually did breed them, but ii ended up
missing the final breeding (since ii dont breed til 100 fp days)
and so after that, ii havent picced bacc up on them. But with these
images, id sooo start again xD
But yeah, ii like the brush you use, it gives the coat a soft plushie
like look, instead of that flat straight look. When ii switch up the order
of how ii do the coat, it usually does come out looking better but, fft ii
hate putting soo much work into the dog n then have the baccground end up
ugly or plain >_<

I used to breed them, too. c: Before the FPaw merge, I bred ITs, Irish Wolfhounds, and Ibizan Hounds. 8D
I agree, that's why I'm always afraid to do backgrounds. xD I really do want to start adding them in though, even to Image Bank pictures, cause I think they give them a lot more interest and depth. Just need to practice. c:
