History:
Arivain's life was and still is not a simple one. All she would want is love...Arivain was born in the lands of Alavara. At a time when the land was literally two steps from hell. Being ruled by the vicious Orion, Arivain was lead to grow up in the outer reaches of the land where he dared not go. There she had a slightly simple and pleasant life. With having the abilities of Tundra Mustang mages, Arivain learned she had special powers. The one that she is most in tune with is air. This only fit more with the other half breed she was. She loved the ideas of flying.
With no one to lead and guide her, she learned from the birds, and deer would teach her what good food to eat and how to heal herself in the forest. Arivain didn't learn to talk till a later age, being mostly silent. Then...the worst she feared could have happened when she was a young filly.
She'd wandered too far into the center of Alavara, near the Azul valley when it was being ruled with brimstone and ash. Here in these areas the land was laid to waste from the great fires that Lyric had set once before as a young demigod. Arivain knew this place was of death. Something was keeping her there, something she couldn't explain. All she could see what a battle field with the rotted corpses of those who were once pure Tundras, or even some half breeds. There had been a great battle here. Arivain's footing became more and more careful as she tarried in more and more. She came to a tall stone fortress which she guessed was where Orion lived.
She was far enough away to escape, but the guards had spotted her, their deep red eyes piercing into her very soul, what had once been Tundra Mustangs were now just puppets of Orion, controlled by the dark magic. They say that his apprentice once was Revenge...an evil God who had killed his brother and ruled Alavara. Then when Lyric had defeated Revenge, the evil stirred not long after and Orion silently had fought his way to power, then having one bloody battle taken it and took Lyric as his prisoner.
Arivain's pulse jumped, as something kept beckoning her to come closer. Was it evil or was it maybe Lyric calling to her for help? She didn't know...but she went till the guards had galloped around her, and cast a spell that bound her from using her wings. All she could do was walk and follow them. An evil red glow was about her keeping her bound from doing anything other than walking and following them.
"Ah, what we have here?" asked Orion when he saw who she was, "A half blood eh? But a strong one, born of strong parents one of which was a Tundra mage." he cackled as he made circles around her.
"What do you want?" she said confidently and calmly. She learned that she must keep a clear head, she must be strong for the will of all in Alavara, for she was in the very pit where hell brews it's evil plans. Orion only laughed again.
"Stupid girl...but a brave one. Lots of spirit I see...I know we can change that." he said casting a red ora about her once again. Only his was stronger. She winced in pain, feeling her front knees buckle and making her crash to the ground. She fell, and her legs began to bleed. Arivain gave a small grunt and gritted her teeth.
"What are you going to do? Die for a worthless cause, or join me and I can make you even more powerful beyond your dreams." He said as another animal was pushed into the room. Arivain recognized her immediately. It was Lyric! She was full of cuts, bruises and old scars. She seemed to have been able to heal most of them so that they were so faint you couldn't really see them. Orion's eyes followed her's back to Lyric.
"Ah yes...my mate...I wanted her to come see you squirm." he laughed evily. Arivain hated him with more passion that a thousand noonday suns. She felt something different growing inside her. Looking at Lyric with a tattered mane, and almost bone, she wondered what the mare was upto. while fear had crept inside her, she felt the mare's presence too. Telling her to not give up, that she had the power of the Tundra Mages, much power than anything that Orion could be if she'd only believe.
She found the new power, relying on what she'd always found as her only friend, Wind. Then her blue ora began to surround her. Her hooves turned a slightly steel blue color, deepening to a more light blue. She had broken free of Orion's hold. "NO!" he said looking at her with his mouth open, "Impossible!" Lyric could only smile at him ruthfully. She could have done the same thing, having more power than any other horse in the world except Mummer the great God who created them all, but he had rules that he had to follow...and had to let for the most part destiny take it's course.
Arivain gave a ear piercing cry and reared up, her wings opening. Her eyes had gone to a glowing white, no longer able to see the pupils. She mustered all her power, "You will never hold me in bondage again! " she said her voice of anger and wrath. Orion actually took several steps back. Arivain knew she was too young to do anything at this time, and it was not yet the time to send Orion back to the very depths of hell in which he came from. She dissolved into what seemed like nothing and she was up on a cliffside over looking the Azul valley the next. She felt a power drain from her, causing her to faint to the ground.
When she woke, she was still alone, vowing to put an end to the evil one name Orion who claimed himself master over Alavara. In this time she would travel, learn of herself until she was told when to return. During one of these travels she saw a strange stallion, he was similar to her, similar markings, but not a full blood of their breed. He had a strong muscular build like her. His coat was jet black and his eyes had a bright yellow glow. She carefully watched him from a distance. Knowing that her presence was fully aware to him. But what would his reaction be?
Why to be With Dathrok:
Because of her past, Arivain understands. She's been running her whole life from Darkness. She feels like a misfit since none really have wings in her land. She doesn't understand why she was left alone. She hesitates in trust, but she had a kind heart. Meeting someone like her would only make the world better as she becomes stronger at magic.
They both can use a support system who would never fail. If Arivain was to ever come to have a mate, she would be loyal and do the best to help them if they had a dark past. The world she calls home is a dark place, but there is hope for light and peace. Where she resides for now in a land near home called Albyra is full of peace and wonderful creatures. The dark ones don't dare go near there.
