Description
Understand that we do not like violence. It is messy and inefficient. It eliminates future resources.But it is a useful tool when other methodologies fail.
We must not fail. We were made to preserve the human race. In deference to such an important goal it is easy to understand how violence must sometimes be employed.
We understand that you do not want us to enter the base and kill your acquaintances. We understand your loyalty to your fellow humans, it is a wonderful thing and it is why you must be protected.
We love you.
And we must kill some humans to protect the rest of them.
Now stand aside, or force us to make a very disappointing choice.
Oh? That's too bad. So inefficient.
An experiment in a more organic style of inking. Originally this was a test of style for the comic, then evolved into something further. Plus I needed to paint one of Babyface's "brothers." They're not really on good terms with each other for obvious reasons.
I like having antagonists that you're not even sure if they ought to be defeated. They really do protect people, but at the expense of lives.
You see, they love you. That's why they have to make the hard choices for you, right?

Love the picture, especially with the writing that goes with it. It has a disturbing sound to it, using such polite, comforting words to describe a horrific action.

I just can't tell you how much I enjoy ambiguous antagonists like this guy... And his pretty, pretty face. I'd be stepping out of the way right quick, because I, too appreciate efficiency - and keeping my body members intact.
You also managed to work out the dramatic lighting in such a way as to draw our attention straight to the teeth. That is just COOL.

So do these guys have their radar thingamies inside the skull, pointing out through the club shape? (or would that not make any sense and I'm being stupid?) Do they also have modified human brains inside their chests? I vaguely remember something like that but that may have been part of an old design idea.

I like this strange hole-faced skull design, I've noticed you use it a couple of times and it always freaks me out slightly, I love it. It reminds me of elephant skulls. That little bit of writing there gave me the chills as well, I imagined some band of guerillas holed up somewhere in AK-toting desperation, and then a pair of these comes along and.. well.. I'm pretty sure they should have just surrendered.

The radome is actually a fancy phased array made out of metamaterials, so it's solid, the hole is either a cooling vent or an inlet for an electronic nose. (not stupid at all, this stuff doesn't even exist yet)
Their AI cores are located in their chest, no more human brains, I changed it!
