The first thing that popped up before the image was the name and I thought it'd be "spiral into despair" or something like that. 
But..why does it look like he has curls at the top of his head? XD

Those feathers are called the crown and they're positioned in front of the crest. If you look in the movie you'll see them, although I tend to draw them larger.
