Usually, I don't accept art trade. I fear about stranges, no interesting and too complicated requests. But sometime, I can do exception! This fanart is a trade with KRITTERART kritterart.deviantart.com/a professional and talented artist! I met her throught her fanarts on Tumblr. She one of my favorites artists!! I made this simple drawing with food colors and pencils. The drawing featuring a jealous King Candy who send Taffyta in the Fungeon because she won the race for the first time!Related content

Yes, she depicted like that but I think this is just Taffyta and others racers's point of view. Turbo look other racer as a rivals but not as a "favorite"...but we can say she is his favorite rival!

Oh, your artwork is always a delight, and this piece in particular would not be out of place in a children's book. Just the way you handled the physical media makes me think of the old Golden books.
I really like how you drew King Candy's pose especially. The little quiver of his pointed finger; he's REALLY steamed. And of course Sour Bill is always a delight.

My god, you're put the finger on the right thing: I really love old illustrations from the "Golden books" and other book of course!! Yesterday, I flipped a Richard Scary's book...the drawing, the colors just stunned me! I love what we can do today with a computer, we can repliced physical media but it's always fun to see the real thing...and I think the best illustrators books are from 1940-1960 era. I noticed an influence of this "vintage" style in some Americans and Frenchs children book today. Also in the movies!
