No, this fandom is not dead...I think many people have not the "future perpective". As I said on my Tumblr, a fandom turn always on classic things. That why we speak about Pac-Man, Mario, E.T, Godzilla, Mozart, Elvis since a long time! Wreck-it Ralph will become a classic, even a cult movie. Because this movie have something "special" that Frozen don't have in my own opinion.
