For this one I lucked out and there was an estate sale going on for an abandoned warehouse in Amarillo TX and there was just a random bag of old watch parts. On a more regular basis I hunt around at watch and clock repair shops. Antique shops too! For some of the more modern and cheaper jewelry pieces I make, I hunt around in the scrapbooking sections of craft shops like Michael's and Hobby Lobby as well as garage sales to hunt down unique findings.

That is SO COOL! If you know where to find your materials anything's possible...thanks for sharing btw, I'm so glad I came across your works, they are absolutely wonderful! I was browsing through anything steampunk for a break while working on a novel (which apparently everyone thinks it's impossible in my country) all the best in your works!
