I know, I submitted the sketch like, what, half a week ago? But in any case, here is the Pokemon canines in color!

Looking at 's amazing traditional art has actually inspired me to try the median myself. I'm no where near the quality but this seemed to turn out okay for my first try - especially since I only had one kind of gray and could not quite figure out how to use it on Poochyena and Houndour (as you can tell). But, the point is, I'm learning and I'm rather enjoying the outcome. Particuarly since it's taking me a lot longer than I thought to get comfortable with using my tablet pen on the new iMac. I kinda miss my old, worn-out PC, but change is always good mehthinks.

So, in any case, and especially since my parents are looking into letting me do commissions of my own (I need more college money than I'm getting from my current two jobs, apparently XP) as well as pushing me to experiment with traditional art again. So, markers/sharpies seem to be a yes. Tomorrow I'll work on some colored pencil art and work my way back up to those nice watercolors Mom bought me like forever and a day ago.

AND IT'S MAY 8D Officially 14 days until my seventeenth birthday! Say HOORAY!
