I suggest using references from your favorite artists. If you look at them while drawing, your art comes out 20% cooler.

im not good at reffing cuz they look to similar to the reff and i get mad so i try to draw my own and LOL rainbow dash!

it otay i got paint tool sai for free the full version and i was thinking of getting a wacom bamboo cuz its cheap and i cant draw very well so i thought it was a good start

a bamboo will be a good start,
my first tablet was a graphire 2
(the bamboo's are better i think)
maybe go with the larger bamboo?

its quite easy to get the full version of it just google free version and the youtube vid will tell u and yeah but i dont have big money right now id love a wacom critiq thts amazing xD

i have a cintiq 20wsx, it was tricky
to setup (a discontinued model)
but was great when i could use it.
i use an intuos 3 atm.
