Made these feathers pens the other day, got the idea off of Pintrest. love that place when u need DIY ideas its amazing but yeah.
These are fairly simple: 1. rip out two pages from an unwanted book, dictionary, music lyrics, etc.
2. Take a piece of wire, you can buy wire at the store though i just took some of my dads dry cleaners hangers and used wire cutters to get the piece i want. abd put it appox. in the middle of your paper 1 inch below the top of the paper and 3 inches hanging off the bottom
3.take liquid glue and run a line down the wire stopping at the end of the paper make sure u do not put glue on the excess 3 inches hanging off
4. take the second paper and put it on top
5.press on the sides of the wire so secure it
6. once that is dry cut out the paper so it is shaped like a feather
7. take a leftover piece of your paper and cut a small about 1/2 ish inch wide strip all the way up the paper then rub stick glue all the way down one side of the strip and wrap it around the piece of the wire that is sticking out.
8. now cut 1/4 or so inch slits all the way around your feather. down the the core but not alll the way to the wire
