I adore these designs. It's like they belong to a group of cyberpunk cultists, or something.
This one in particular seems to resemble a cross between a spider (the multiple eyes) and a gas mask.
The hoods emphasize a sense of mystery and foreboding, which is great for intimidating characters.
I also like the little tubes and buckles. The tubes, should they serve a purpose, can give us some insight into who this person is. The buckles give it that slight touch of realism; This is a mask someone had to put together, to create, to put their hard work and effort into, in order to don their creation and be reborn, in a way.
