Idk, I'm pretty full up with commissions at the time. Maybe later down the road.

This is really pretty. I adore those vibrant colors of the nebulae, they almost looks like explosions. Or are they supposed to be explosions? :3
Moreover I've noticed this little guy in the lower center of the picture. To me it looks like he's painting, is that the case? :3
All in all I really like this picture. Space art is surely one of the most mesmerizing areas to capture and create in pictures.

Thank you. No, they're not supposed to be explosions though it does resemble that, and yes that man is painting. Hints the title.

It's quite adorable how small he is in the picture. And it's somewhat ventured to paint in space. But the idea itself is quite unique. <3

Nice work again. You can see the growth, however, it's a tas too colorful for me in the nebulas. Maybe a little less color or a more singular color choice. That's would have been what I'd have done, but that doesn't negate the fact that it's a very well done piece!

Yeah, its way too colorful. Its still an early piece, so its good for what it is.

Thank you so much. I put a lot into it. I know, that's the only thing I don't like about the picture. I need to get my drawing skills up.

KatChimera In reply to TylerCreatesWorlds [2012-02-04 05:40:03 +0000 UTC]

Don't worry about it. The image is so amazing that my comment on the guy is really just a nit pick. Also, I noticed that the more I zoomed in on the image the more natural the man looked in his surrounding. I could be wrong, but maybe if you made the detail on his shading (specifically the back light) less precise he might look more natural when the image is zoomed out?

Anyways, great job! This is one of my favorites for space art!

Another very well done remake ^^
Let me say that huge galaxy is superb!
The two adorable little bottles made me laugh at first, 'cause I realized I never considered the artist would be thirsty on a planet with no water and an entire landscape to paint XD ahahahah! 10 points to the bottles!
Coff coff, seriuosly speaking grat piece man, I fell in love with the galaxy *_*

TylerCreatesWorlds In reply to Stellina-90 [2011-03-23 23:25:50 +0000 UTC]

Thank you. The galaxy was kind of a last minute add in. I was just looking through some of the stuff i made as practice a long time ago. One i put it in i was like "... nice." So i guess it works. Truth is were actually supposed to be empty tubes of paint, but if they look like bottles, then thats what i was trying to do Thanks again

Also what would be cool... I assume that since this moon appears to have some sort of atmosphere that adding a crater filled with ice and having some reflections of the nebula, distorted of course, would look pretty epic. Just my opinion, I like the work you do. It seems like you put a tremendous amount of time into each work and I feel that you could very likely sell these for a very tidy sum should you chose to pursue that kind of venture.

That is not a bad idea. Thanks man, I usually spend around a mounth if not more on a piece. I have a lot of prints on here for sale, only person to buy one was my mom :/. I really just make these to use as my wallpaper but i would not be dissapointed if more people bought my prints.

ernestborg6of9 [2011-03-23 21:06:34 +0000 UTC]

The addition of the rubble in the moonscape really adds to the realistic feel of the image. Though overall I like it, I feel that perhaps you went a bit overboard in the nebula's presence in this one. Don't get me wrong, I love the color and form on the central nebula, I just feel that the previous version was fine without it.

TylerCreatesWorlds In reply to ernestborg6of9 [2011-03-23 23:30:25 +0000 UTC]

Yeah, this was my "really get my nebula technique down piece." Looking at it now it does come off as a bit much but o well, im to lazy to remake a remake.
