The originality of this photo manipulation was the first thing that struck me: the artist has chosen the steampunk theme and it is incredible how he has managed to create a steampunk piece of art from the starting image he had chosen, which is not a full body, but rather a highly specific close up. To me, the decision of choosing an eye as a subject is what makes the photo manipulation so interesting - The amount of detail he has put into it is astonishing and yet, the image is still clear!
I also really like the contrast between the sepia tones of the photo and the intense blues and reds of the eye and tear duct.
Lastly, I enjoyed reading the tutorial part of the picture - it is concise yet informative, and leaves space for other artists to improvise and add their own touches to their work, by giving examples of the resources he used.

This picture is AWESOME Nuff said, but the tutorial itself is awesome in it's own right. First, presentation is top notch, your format is done in a way that we see exactly where changes were made and explained exactly what you did on the side. Second, it's very simple and easy to follow, but obviously geared towards people with a good amount of experience on photoshop. Third, for examples you gave plenty and said exactly what to do with them. Lastly, you made something really complicated and made it seem very simplistic. Great work and great tutorial, can't wait to see more!

Hi, I realize that this is not really your problem, but I thought that perhaps you can assist me anyway. I purchased your tutorial and received a message that it is now on my "bookshelf". For th life of me I can't find a "bookshelf" and can't find the tutorial
