Description A lesser wyvern enjoying a mid-afternoon sunbake. Lesser wyverns are small, about the size of a small kingfisher and, like the kingfisher, hunt fish in lakes and streams. They are mainly ambush hunters, diving from their perch onto an unsuspecting morsel. However they are also excellent swimmers, their tails have adapted in a fin like shape for extra speed. Like all wyverns the lesser wyvern are fiercely territorial. The males are particularly zealous during the mating season where territorial disputes are common and can lead to death

But such is nature. Only the best adapted and strongest survive to mate.

Hmm yeah, didnt wallace steal darwins ideas and tried to publish them himself?

Yes and no. They were on opposite sides of the globe. They published about the same time I think, though Darwin claimed to have thought of the idea first.
