My theory is George might be conditioning mankind for the day when extraterrestrial life is revealed to mankind. I mean, who wouldn't want a Wookie as a best friend, right? So this alien may be further evidence of such a plan. This guy along with his other pal from the Cantina, Ellorrs, are the type of big headed aliens we are told do not exist, visit us or abduct people for crazy experiments. You know George and his family have even been cast as aliens as well in Revenge of the Sith and in the Clone Wars series. Maybe those aren't costumes?Related content

It's simple and the creature design is classic. All of those Cantina creatures were pretty simple but so on point. Even the most realistic CG aliens now don't quite have the flare or capture the imagination like they did.

I absolutely adore the Cantina denizens; SW had the perfect mix of classic designs with unique and novel twists, and they're just outstanding. And, of course, the Duros brought forth my biggest loves, the beautiful Neimoidians
