At the home of Dr. Athena Nikos, a teenaged girl with short red hair and gorgeous silver bracelets got out of a taxi. After paying the driver, she made her way into the building. When asked by the doorman who she was there to see, the girl simply said:

"My name is Julia, and I'm here to see Dr. Nikos. She's a friend of my mother."

After being let inside the complex, Julia made her way to Athena's apartment, eventually finding her apartment number. Something was amiss though, she could feel it. The door was slightly ajar, so Julia simply went in.

"Hey! Athena? It's me, Julia. Sorry I'm late, but.....Athena?"

Julia was confused at what she saw. The living room of Athena's home was trashed. Papers were strewn everywhere, furniture was kicked over, and there were other signs that there had been a struggle.

"By the gods...." she muttered. "What happened here?"

"That's what I'm trying to figure out!" came a voice.

Coming from the bedroom was White Venus, another one of White Owl's friends.

"Can I ask who you are?" said the heroine.

"I'm Julia. My mom is.....uh...you probably know her as 'Ultra Woman'....the good one. Not the icky one in the silver jumpsuit. I came here after talking to Athena on the phone. She said my mom's been missing," said Julia.

Yes. No has seen her for a few days. Strange stuff has been happening around the city. Incredi-Man was recently murdered, and now Crimson Hawk tells me that Sure Shot is missing as well. In addition to that, a group of Neo-Nazis just kidnapped a bunch of people at one of the downtown shopping centers. No worries though, Golden Angel is on the case though. I came to chat with Athena about this, and it looks like an A-bomb went in here. I think she's been kidnapped," said Venus.

Oh man...." said Julia.

Meanwhile, across town, Athena awoke, tied tightly to a chair, a piece of tape running across her mouth. In front of her stood her captor, Ultrawoman.

"Comfy? Those chords are sort of titanium/steel mesh. Not that I need them to hold you as weak as you are," said Ultra.

"Mmmmmmmph!!!" screamed Athena.

Ultra mockingly put her hand to her ear.
"What was that? 'Mmmph mm?' I can't understand you!" laughed Ultra. "Well, get used to your bonds White Owl. You'll be in them for quite some time. I just wanted to make sure you were awake before I went back out. I have work to do Doctor. Maybe when I come back, you and Walkiria can have a little 'mmmph mmph!' conversation. But worry not my friend, you will serve your purpose before you die. Ciao!"

As Ultra turned to leave, Athena became worried.

"Oh shit," she thought. "She has Walkiria too? And if so, does she have Ultra Woman?"

Soaring through the sky, Ultra soon arrived at her intended destination; "Olympian Spas", the current location of her next target.

Inside the spa's hot tub, Kashaye Parker relaxed, happy to ever so briefly take a break from the stresses of superheroics, oblivious to what was coming...

At the Angel Falls Police Department, Detective Angie sat at her desk, puzzled as she read over a stack of files on her desk. One of her fellow officers, Kate Prince, approached her.

"You wanted to see me?" asked Kate.

"Yeah, I have a few questions," said Angie. "A few weeks back, Ultrawoman kidnapped you, which I know was hard on you. She said something about purging the city of corrupt cops, right?

"Yeah. But what does this....?" began Kate.

"Is it possible that Incredi-Man was involved in some shady dealings?" asked Angie.

Back at the spa, Ultra entered the stone hot tub room, prepared for another fight......
