this reminds me of the little conversation where niko describes the atrocities he had witnessed during his tima as a russian soldier... specifically with the parts about the children with their throats slashed and hands cut off... he doesnt want to be a bad guy... but after seeing the shit he has seen he can never go back to being decent.

Niko was never a Russian soldier. Hes Serbian, he faught in the Yugoslav Wars.

Many of these covers are commissioned by Gamepro very quickly, right before the issue sees print, based on what they decide the feature will be. Also, a good chunk of the image is covered with the magazine trade dress and text outlining all the different major articles in the issue. If you get a chance to see the issue on the newsstand you'll see how the image is utilized.

It's looking good over all. Nice expression in the face. Really makes this guy look like a dirt bag. I think most would of tried to make him look like a bad ass.
All I can say about the game itself is THANK GOD they are ending the whole hip hop gang themes. That theme was done to death in games these past few years.
