Description ~ShotgunValentine asked me to color this because she wanted it for her portfolio as well, so I was happy to oblige even though landscapes definitely are not my strong point. I hope it suits what you need it for. >_<

So many damn lillypads. I think I went cross-eyed trying to color them.

Download for the higher res version if you want to use it as a background or whatever for your own personal work. I don't mind if you do use it for non-commercial purposes, and I know ~ShotgunValentine doesn't mind, either. Just give credit and link back to us.

It's amazing how quick are you I would've spend ages on that, and still not be satisfied.

Thank you!
Now all I have to do is just to create a game based on this. Piece of cake And I hope it'll come in handy in your portfolio as well.

I won't have time to get a print made of it for my portfolio showing this Saturday, but it will go in my digital portfolio and future physical portfolio as well.

The picture of Aredon that you drew and I colored, however, will be in my showing at Motor City Comic Con this Saturday... which means that professionals in the industry will be seeing it. Which is pretty cool, I think.

Stan Lee himself is going to be there, and I'm going to do everything in my power to get him to see my portfolio... but even with my VIP pass to see him, I'm not holding my breath on that one. >_<

Oh, come on! If you won't believe in yourself who will? That was one of my first lessons in life: count on yourself, which also includes such paragraphs as 'love yourself', 'believe in yourself', 'respect yourself', etc. It feels somehow very important.

As for your background colouring, I might only suggest darkening the back and contrasting the front, so the scene would have some depth.
I thought adjusting colours a bit, so this drawing will fit the mood of a game better (that's funny, adjusting a concept for a game, not vice versa). But I can adjust it a bit more if you like to show at least what conceptual artists want to see if you're interested, since I'm so much in touch with them. Perhaps, you'll catch some tips. As, for example, I'd like to know what I do wrong with linearts (funny thing, I love lining and shading... I hate colouring... see, we're a perfect team).
