Description
This is the Ar'ka's method of insertion behind enemy lines. A CQC warrior is no good when he needs to traverse several yards of long distance death.These are not unlike the drop pods used by the ODSTs of the Halo universe, or more specifically the cut out version of the Elite's drop pod.
A specialized transport roars over the enemy lines, fires off its salvo of drop pods and continues on, leaving these "coffin" structures to plummet...NEARLY controlled...to the battlefield and begin their attack.

I didn't intend them to. They're sort of similar to the Elite drop pods that were cut from Halo 2 and used in Halo Reach. One man pod designed for a quick entry into combat.

HAHA, well, I think they don't mind it so much. When Ghost in the Shell Stand Alone Complex was out, I freaking got geeky and bought like 5 of them from Hobbylink Japan.
So, since I DIDN'T build all of them, I think they serve the Greater Good in service to my Ar'ka
