Just had to add to the positive praise for this. I found this on one of my first trips to DA, set this as my wallpaper, and then my wife changed it. I finally found it again just now and it's going back up on my desktop with a warning to my wife not to change it. Good job on this and keep it up.

Normally, I think fractals look lame. This is by far the coolest one I've seen! Makes great wallpaper.

I created the design with the program Apophysis. The rays and the highlight were done in Photoshop.

Haha, amazingly well! I love olive colours, and the pattern is nothing short of incredible! It just twists and swirls when I look at it, but since Advance Critique, have you tried darkening the lower-right corner to simulate a bit more depth? The picture is fine as it is, but just firing away for the sake of trying to comment usefully.
Really amazing work, you're going straight to the +Fav man.

Wow... there's an optical illusion in it, right?
It's like those green/yellow circles that are spinning when you're looking at them. It's not so noticeable on *this* picture, but seriously... I can slightly see it
