Oh my gosh, this is a wonderful compliment indeed. Thank you so, so very much. You can't imagine how much that means to me.

First of all, I need to apologize. The story of Velkan and Jonathan has been in development for almost a decade and there have been numerous changes to characters, design and story itself. That makes my gallery extremely confusing. I'm going to upload their origin story in written form soon. Basically the only "canon" pictures are on the first page of my gallery. Especially after the latest design change for Jonathan, which would be this one: Darkside Detective

Also the ones about the prequel with Velkan alone, like these: The Mansion in the Mist  or Night over London

The ones I see you faving at the moment are from older versions of the story. The original version where Jon was still supposed to become a vampire. A lot of that has changed since then. Again, I'm sorry for the confusion. I hope you can still enjoy the pictures.

I am having a great time with the storyline that I've dug up. 
Of course, I can see you've upgraded them immensely. 

And I was kinda put off (but still going with it) upon finding out that Jonathan became a vampire. I was thinking to myself, how could Velkan save him if he is already a vampire. So I was kinda confused. But now I'm understanding with your explanation. I'm still going thru your earlier works just the same. 

What a scenario, Jonathan + Markus (an ex no less) + Velkan (who he hates to love but loves him just the same and hates that he does ). 

I went through my vampire stage along with the media hype, sorry to say. My sister and I couldn't get enough novels. We would read and swap and read others and swap. Anne Rice was awesome. I saw the first TWILIGHT movie...Yuck blah ech! It had promise but it was too Hollywood for me. My sister watched though, she got so sucked in I couldn't save her. I did watch the two-part ending movies with her on TV and they were pretty good with that mass fight scene especially, but still...

Heh, yeah, it is really confusing. When this all started it was a super stereotypical vampire story but I moved away from that fandom. I still have vampires around but shifted the story to be about ancient lost cultures, their technology, old Gods etc.

You‘ll come across other versions, too. There is Jon the supernatural cat burglar. Then there is Jon in a threeway relationship with Velkan and Richard, who is another regular. Jon as a student is around here too. now he’s actually working at the British Museum. I will see about cleaning up my gallery into folders to make it less confusing.

The picture I uploaded tonight (called Squad Goals) has the design of the characters and their respective partners as it is now. Jon and Velkan have been with me for so long but I think I finally reached a setup I‘m truly happy with.

Nevertheless, thank you so much for spending so much time with my works and your comments are really appreciated. Makes me happy to know you enjoy what I do.

Damn, you saw the blurred part There was a flaw in the texture plus the head was showing through. I postworked it clumsily and so it became a bit blurred
