... okay, that was blatantly obvious. And actually no one in the house tells those two to behave because let's face it: Tariq and Richard are the adults in the room even though they are the youngest male inhabitants of Whitechurch Manor. Well, maybe Castor not withstanding, he's mostly a voice of reason.
First time that the height difference between Tariq and Richard becomes obvious but it ended up rather extreme here given the fact that Tariq is much closer to the camera.
Anyway, you're welcome for getting that amazing song stuck in your head

I think I fell in love with Klaus too - I've always had a thing for the underdog. Though to be fair, Diego landed squarely on my radar too. I'm so glad they renewed it for a second season.Β

I despised Diego with a passion in the beginning, but it was due to his relationship with Klaus later that he grew on me. I loved the show even though some aspects were painfully obvious from a mile away (Vanya is the most powerful/dangerous and that horrible guy she dated actually being evil) - I'm just glad that season 2 is with the original actors. I was terrified that they would be kids now.

I really hoped they wouldn't go with a kid cast for season 2. I'm so glad the original cast will be returning. Sure, parts of the story were predictable, but that's the case with most shows based around superheroes, no matter how dysfunctional. Sometimes the story is fine if it fills the gaps between learning about the characters, at least for me.Β

Indeed, the difference in height is quite obvious, but it makes Richard very sweet and my beautiful Tariq very tough and hotter! By the way, is Tariq crying a little? Right?! Though it is really extreme here for some reason. They are both on the same level when it comes to Y-translation so I think it's because of the angle and because Tariq is so much closer to the camera. Only makes it sexier, though

It happens that way IRL, too. Perspective makes a lot of difference when size comes into play, as does standing on tip toes and the like. Ugh, I need my own Tariq, dammit... with the same size difference. XD

A friend of mine never really got that. She and I used to talk a lot about "XY looks weird here" and I had to explain that rendering is basically like photography. Unlike in a drawing, the result you get is highly dependent on light, perspective, colours etc... I mean, sure, that is true for a drawing too but you have a different kind of control over it. When you render a character a little tilting of the head can already change the entire impression.
Yeah... Tariq or Velkan... both would be way taller than I am. My boyfriend is only like 1 inch taller than me. XD

I love the sharp lighting here. I'm not sure if it's an intentional effect or not but there is something about it that just makes it feel extra magical or otherworldly.

I actually intended the scene to be really soft but I used very sharp lighting in Daz to render it because that is faster than a picture with a lot of shadows and soft light. I thought I'd work that over in PS and make it softer but then it began to look so slightly otherworldly and I loved the effect and continued in that direction
