If you recall, Jon used to have a gem on a necklace in the final few images before the BIG CHANGE (TM) so here it is again. Used to focus his powers and become better at using them, mostly.

Alas, I never made it far into Nadia and the Secret of Blue Water. It was a bit butchered in German television and by that time I had lost track of new anime being aired. Kinda wish I had followed it. I love stuff like this. Steampunk, the Nautilus, Atlantis, all that jazz.

Interessant, wie du deine Charaktere gestaltest. In den Untergründen schwingt viel aus der Zeit von Tut Ankh Amun mit. Insofern passt das Horusauge als Kettenanhänger gut.

You've created some extremely beautiful, sophisticated, intriguing and lifelike characters and Jon is definitely one of your best! And I agree with Jim, this image is very painterly! Fantastic contrast between the mainly black and gray tones and the blue gem... Absolutely a terrific image, Raffi!

Yeah, I can see you've worked hard on it. I do the same sometimes. I start off not knowing exactly what I'm going to do then get inspiration as I go. Sometimes I've got a concrete idea in my head about what I want and then that image takes weeks to ever surface because nothing really matches what's in my head. One reason I haven't done another Cupid and Psyche. I've got grand ideas about the palace but I'm not going to be able to create it that way.
